Students will learn about new technologies in the area of cognitive sciences.

 

According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, the goal of holding this summer school is familiarizing students with new cognitive technologies, improving group work and interdisciplinary thinking with an emphasis on the implementation of scientific projects.

In this six-day educational course, which is initiated on August 10th 2018, the national brain-mapping laboratory, Iranian neuroscience society, and Iran University of Medical sciences will cooperate.

According to the announcement by the authorities of the school, this round of educational course will be associated with holding specialized classes with various topics in the area of neurocognitive sciences, including practical anatomy of human brain, feeling and perception, neuroscience, sleep and wakening, philosophy of mind, learning and memory, thinking and language, executive decision-making and application, cognitive modeling, attention and awareness, social recognition, neurological disease, cognitive rehabilitation, brain-mapping, research neuroscience and teamwork with a neurological approach.

According to the authorities of this course, the classes will be held for students in the field of medical sciences, basic sciences, psychology and technical and engineering fields at BSc, MSc and PhD levels. For more information, please refer to the website of www.nbml.ir.
