Students will compete in Dakkeh Student Publications League

 

All students are invited to the first specialized student publication league known as “Mustafa Prize Dakkeh”, which is a special league held by the Mustafa Science and Technology Foundation focusing on topics related to science and technology.

The Mustafa Science and Technology Foundation has announced the call for the first specialized student publication league so that students and owners of student publications would test their abilities by sending notes, publications and works.

The topics of the event include “introducing and explaining scientific achievements and developments of Islamic world countries", "critique of consumer science approach and promote science production approach" and "increasing Islamic countries’ role in international equations”.

In addition, “knowledge-based science and economy and the role of knowledge-based companies in progress of communities”, “science; a means of empowering Islamic countries”, “reasons for the importance of scientific authority for the countries of the Islamic world and effective cooperation in science”, and “technology and innovation of the Islamic world in order to realize the new Islamic civilization” are other topics of the event.

After assessment, the selected works including the best note, best journal, best cover design and best non-Iranian student note will received 15, 10 and 5 million Rials from the first to third works, respectively.

The call was made in February and will continue to June 20th, 2020.

Mustafa Science and Technology Foundation has been established in line with creating the ecosystem for improving the scientific level of Islamic countries and network the scientists of the Islamic world. In addition, it has planned activities to explain science and technology in the public discourse of the society and create scientific motivation in student society.

According to the executive document of Mustafa Prize, Sorena Sattari (the vice president for science and technology affairs) and Mahdi Safarinia (head of Pardis Technology Park) are appointed as the head and secretary of the policy-making council of the prize, respectively.
