The biotechnology development headquarter will take steps toward the development and promotion of concepts related to biotechnology and teaching these concepts to students by holding the “future experts” summer school.

According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, one of the goals of the biotechnology development headquarter is promoting concepts related to biotechnology, which is a science that can improve the economy of the country alone and significantly reduce the oil dependence of Iran. In this regard, the biotechnology development headquarter fully supports the measures taken to promote the concepts related to the science of biotechnology.

This educational course will be held in summer by Sadramehr Research Center of Tehran in the first comprehensive school of medicine and biotechnology. First and second-grade students can attend this educational course as well. 

Educational workshops such as “DNA extraction and gene engineering”, “familiarization with different types of microorganisms”, “identification and genetic fingerprinting”, and “generalities of cell culture and cellular treatment of cancer” will be held.

In addition, students will be permitted to attend medical, pharmacy, and dental courses after participating in this round.

In this educational course, counseling program and challenging discussions about selecting the job, field of study, and talent identification are also considered for the participants. At the end, activities of all participants will be evaluated and a license will be obtained from the biotechnology development headquarter.
