The water, drought, erosion and environment technologies development headquarter will support the technological theses and dissertations that could lead to the formation of businesses in the area of duties of technology development of the headquarter through cooperation with the ministry of science, research and technology.
According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, the water, drought, erosion and environment technologies development headquarter has aimed to support theses and dissertations that could lead to the formation of businesses in the area of duties of technology development of the headquarter through cooperation with the ministry of science, research and technology in order to achieve and improve water and soil productivity, solve environmental crises of the country and create suitable occupations in line with the sustainable livelihood of the community.
To this end, a call is announced on the website of ministry of science in February 2019. To date, more than one hundred theses and dissertations were sent and judgment sessions were held, which led to the selection of a number of projects that met the criteria of the headquarter. The selected projects were announced on the website in March.
In addition, a meeting was held with the members of the mentioned headquarter, supervisors of students and the students, whose theses were selected, in May 2019 in order to determine the support cost and expectations of the headquarter.
The headquarter hopes to improve self-efficacy in the country by implementing projects to support dissertations and theses that could result in goods production.
