Showcasing Knowledge-based Abilities; Iranian Products Are Introduced to Battle Corona in Other Countries

“Production leap and achievements against corona” is the title of an exhibition that has been opened for three days. The exhibition showcases the abilities of the innovation and technology ecosystem in the battle against the new virus. Business and diplomatic representatives from various countries visited the exhibition and the achievements of knowledge-based companies.

According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, the innovation and technology ecosystem became determined to fight against corona since its outbreak. By the efforts of the ecosystem, technological products and equipment were produced in a short duration to control the disease in the country.

Today, an exhibition is opened to showcase these achievements and knowledge-based products.

Peyman Salehi, the deputy of technology innovation and commercialization development headquarter visited the pavilion of knowledge-based companies and talked with managers of companies about their challenges and problems.

More than 50 knowledge-based companies have presented their products in the exhibition.

In addition, the national innovation fund has allocated more than 300 billion Tomans of credit to 70 companies to realize the production leap in products used in the battle against corona disease.

Several business and diplomatic representatives of various countries have already visited the exhibition. While welcoming the products presented at the event, the Bangladeshi Ambassador, the Lithuanian Consul and the Afghan Ambassador stressed the readiness of these countries to use "Iranian" products to fight the COVID-19 virus.

In addition, Seyed Mohammad Sahebkar Khorasani, the president of knowledge-based companies center, and Abdolreza Majdodin, the general director of knowledge-industry-market cooperation association, and other managers visited the booths of the exhibition and talked with the representatives of knowledge-based companies. The challenges in production of equipment and products against corona and support packages of the Vice-Presidency were topics of discussion during visiting the exhibit
