Show of strength of Iran by producing the necessary spatial infrastructures in the country

Chairman of Iran national space and advanced transportation administration believes that we can be turned into a powerful country in the space field and be among the top 10 countries by providing the necessary infrastructures.

According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, Manouchehr Manteghi, Chairman of Iran national space and advanced transportation administration, pointed out the most important priorities in the space section of the country, expressing: in our administration, we have focused on the construction and launching of satellites and creating the necessary infrastructures.

According to Manteghi, extensive efforts have been dedicated to improving the infrastructures and making the necessary planning to realize the launch and development of spatial technologies. If these infrastructures are provided, we can achieve our strategic goals by 2021.

Manteghi continued: however, technology of launching and constructing satellites in the space field includes the launch of satellites to various layers. Today, Iran has the ability to launch satellites to layers near the earth and up to 500 km. Nonetheless, our goal is to launch satellites to farther layers, including those with a distant of 1000 km from the center of the earth.
