Seven New Cooperation Projects with Investment and Endowments Fund of the Mustafa Prize

 

Mahdi Safarinia, secretary of investment council of the Mustafa Prize, stated on the annual meeting of the fund: this foundation is formed by the order of stock exchange organization. In this institute, resources of which are supplied by individuals and companies, the benefits are used for activities of the Mustafa Prize. Generally, people can spend their benefits on activities of the Mustafa Prize.

He pointed out: this fund has a specific structure and components, such as registration, execution and audit managers, all of which are clearly demonstrated on the website of mpfund.ir.

According to Safarinia, 28 non-Iranians from 23 countries of the world and two non-Iranian organizations, as well as 34 legal and 317 actual Iranian individuals cooperate with this fund.

He mentioned the investments made by the fund to this day (240 billion IRR), adding: the major part of this amount is in the form of low-interest funds and a part of it is gratuitous.

He also announced: in the annual meeting of the investments and endowments fund of Mustafa Prize, which was held March 5th 2018, seven new cooperation projects have been performed, documents of which were transferred.

The Mustafa Prize is the high sign of science and technology of the Islamic world, provided for top scholars and researchers of the Islamic world every two years. This prize recognizes, introduces and appreciates the work of top workers in the area of science and technology in order to promote teaching and research in Islamic societies.

According to the executive document of the Mustafa Prize, Sorena Sattari (the vice president for science and technology affairs) and Mahdi Safarnia (head of Pardis technology park) are head and secretary of the policy-making council, respectively.

The second round of the Mustafa Prize was held December 3rd 2017 in Vahdat Hall of Tehran in the presence of top figures of science and technology in the Islamic world.
