Selected Works of the Literature Section of “Made in Iran” Are Introduced

The final evaluation of the works sent to the literature section with categories of short stories, documentary journalism, and poetry was carried out and the selected works are introduced.

According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs quoted by the news headquarter of the second national, cultural, and art festival of Made in Iran, evaluation of the literature section of the event was carried out. Mohammad Reza Aslani, Abbas Ahmadi, Alireza Labesh, and Amir Ali Hamidieh, the representative of the knowledge-based economy and culture-building technologies development headquarter, assessed the works delivered in this section. After assessing works in the areas of short story, documentary journalism, and poetry, five works were selected to be published in the book festival. In addition, three selected works of each section were introduced.

Naser Feyz, secretary of the literature section, expressed on the assessment session: despite have one completed round, Made in Iran is still a new festival and many years are needed to make this festival a national event. Nevertheless, many artists are familiarized with the event, and publication of the call for the event has led to the receiving of a considerable number of works by the secretariat of the festival.

Alireza Labesh, the judge of this section, affirmed: in general, the quality of the works sent to the festival was acceptable. If the mission of Made in Iran is persuading people to buy Iranian products using artistic works of people, it will achieve its goal in this round of the event. Some works have been sent to the festival that have persuaded me to pay attention to the brand of a product before purchasing it.

Abbas Ahmadi explained about the evaluation of works: more than 200 works have been received, which shows a qualitative and quantitative growth in this regard. If Made in Iran is regarded as an advertisement tool to achieve valuable goals such as support of domestic products, it could be expressed that it is a good advertisement. However, the important issue is distribution of these works among the people.

According to this report, 474 works have been received by the secretariat of the literature section of the festival, including 211 short stories, 224 poems, and 39 works of documentary journalism.

The second national, cultural and art festival of “Made in Iran” will be held December 25th-29th, 2018 with the goals of mainstreaming and content production for cyberspace related to the cycle of commercialization, entrepreneurship and knowledge-based economy, support of Iranian-made knowledge-based products and services, organizing excessive import and valuating high-quality Iranian products and services, and helping the branding of high-quality Iranian products. It should be noted that various sections of the festival include literature, visual arts, audiovisual economy, digital media and idea market and student section, which will be carried out by the efforts of the knowledge-based economy and culture-building technologies development headquarter and with the help of Parviz Karami, secretary of the mentioned headquarter.
