Sattari: The National Media Is a Powerful Tribune for the Promotion of the Knowledge-based Economy Ecosystem

Sorena Sattari, the vice president for science and technology affairs, and Abdolali Ali Asgari, the head of IRIB, visited the knowledge-based companies and the abilities of Pardis Technology Park. During the visit, the attendees emphasized the development of bilateral cooperation and the use of the capacity of the national media in introducing the innovation ecosystem and knowledge-based economy.

During the visit, Sattari stated: inventions and research that the private sector is reluctant to buy and invest in may not have sufficient intrinsic value for commercialization. Valuable inventions and innovations have the ability to solve a problem in society, and naturally there is an investor.

Service Packages

Sorena Sattari, the president of the national elites foundation emphasized the development of the infrastructures for the knowledge-based economy in the country, adding: today, the Vice-Presidency provides more than 140 support packages to knowledge-based companies, the gradual output of which in the past six years has been the development of more than 5300 knowledge-based companies.

The president of the headquarters for culture knowledge-based economy explained the steps taken to build the culture and reinforce the innovation and technology ecosystem, asserting: the national media is a powerful tribune for the promotion of knowledge-based economy ecosystem. The national media has significant capacities. If bilateral cooperation is developed, a suitable platform will be created for the development of the market for knowledge-based, creative and technological products.

Pointing out the extensive capacities of the national media in explaining the knowledge-based economy in community, the vice president affirmed: many knowledge-based companies have grown and flourished, introducing the products of small and medium-sized knowledge-based companies from the radio can significantly accelerate the growth of these companies.

Marketing for Knowledge-based Products

Sattari assessed ads and knowledge-based products important, adding: today's visit of the national media to this center can be a turning point in bilateral cooperation. It is expected that the process of introducing the ecological capabilities of the knowledge-based economy in IRIB will leap due to the orders and follow-ups of the esteemed chairman of IRIB to establish a joint media cooperation committee.

Technological Spirit and Islamic Revolution Values

Abdolali Ali Asgari, the president of IRIB, pointed out the Vice-Presidency’s success in developing the innovation infrastructures in the country, adding: we make all of our efforts to support the knowledge-based economy ecosystem.

Inserting the Name of Knowledge-based Companies

Parviz Karami, the secretary of the headquarters for culture knowledge-based economy and the representative of the Vice-Presidency in IRIB, appreciated the efforts and support of the media, expressing: by establishing a bilateral cooperation office, we can improve the quality and quantity of measures taken in the field of culture and promotion of knowledge-based economy in the national media.

Karami appreciated the efforts of the president of the national media and demanded broadcasting free ads for products of knowledge-based companies and startups on channels 3, Iran Kala, 4, Amoozesh and news sections. We need to introduce the name of the companies accepted by the president of the national elites foundation.

Turning Ideas into Products

Mahdi Safarinia, the president of Pardis technology park, asserted: producing wealth from knowledge is a main goal in the organization. Pardis Technology Park is the intermediating circle between university and industry. Academic technology nuclei bring their ideas and designs closer to the edge of commercialization by using the capabilities of this collection.

Visiting Various Sections

During the meeting, the vice president for science and technology affairs talked to managers and technology activists of some of the knowledge-based companies based in Pardis Technology Park, accompanied by the president of IRIB and other authorities. Examining the challenges of these companies and the way out of these issues were among the topics discussed.

An exhibition of some of the knowledge-based products was held during the visit. The president and manager of IRIB along with the vice president for science and technology affairs learned about the latest knowledge-based products presented in the park.
