According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, Mahmoud Mehrdad Shokrieh, secretary of advanced manufacturing and materials technologies development headquarter expressed: encouraging these great knowledge-based companies to do more activities by holding specialized meetings and establishing interactions with relevant associations so that research and development activities of these enterprises can be followed up with an accelerated pace. Currently, one of the follow-ups is related to the replacement of imported items with domestically manufactured products. In addition, it is proposed to revise the tariffs on imported products, which have similar domestic counterparts. According to Shokrieh, proper measures have been taken in the area of improving the technology of current industries and creation of new knowledge-based industries. In this regard, knowledge-based companies are aided to more easily receive their approvals within the framework of laws.

He also affirmed: it is also aimed to encourage technology and innovation centers to work in the form of new knowledge-based companies. Moreover, companies that have the sufficient capacities but are still not approved can receive counseling.
