Reliance on local talents for improving the area of agriculture in the country

 

The workgroup of agriculture and natural resources approved the support 10 projects of researchers and technologists of the country.

According to the public relations and information center of the vice-presidency for science and technology affairs, the latest meeting of the workgroup of agriculture and natural resources was held by the support of the national science foundation. In this meeting, 13 research projects, three agreed postdoctoral, two postdoctoral and four research projects were evaluated.

In this regard, 10 projects did not receive support and 10 projects were approved. In addition, one project required completing information and one project was delayed for the next meeting. The supported projects were in areas of gardening, agricultural insecticides, agronomy and plant breeding, science and technology for food and fisheries and the environment with achievements, such as article publication and production of products.

The workgroup for agriculture and natural resources evaluates the research projects of researchers sent to the foundation from across the country, followed by prioritization of projects to be supported. In other words, this workgroup encourages the production of agricultural products by relying on local talents, so that necessary projects could be approved and implemented in various parts of agriculture and natural sources to make use of water, soil and lands as much as possible.

Last year, this workgroup received 293 research projects and approved 96 projects for support, implementation of which the pace of movement to the path of progress could be accelerated.
