According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, the fourth festival and exhibition of medicinal plants and Iranian medicine (traditional) will be held November 12^th-15^th, 2018 by the efforts of the traditional medicine and medicinal herbs sciences and technology development headquarter.

This round of the competition will be held in order to realize the support of domestic production, culture building to support domestic financial and spiritual assets and domestic infrastructures in line with self-reliance, job creation and maximum utilization of domestic capacity in medicinal herbs and traditional medicine. Therefore, the top technological products of this field will be exhibited.

The fourth festival and exhibition of medicinal plants and Iranian medicine (traditional) will cover the areas of the seed industry and the reproductive organs of medicinal herbs, publication of works related to medicinal herbs and traditional products, training and education in the traditional herbal medicine industry, distribution network of herbs and herbal medicines, traditional medicine and related products, and herbal remedies.

Other areas of the event include technologists and technology transfer broker companies, medicines and herbal supplements (human-livestock), natural products (essential oils and extracts), natural products (cosmetics), natural products (honey, rose water and distillates), natural products (food-medicine and herbal drinks), equipment and machinery specially designed for the herbal medicine industry, and new technologies in the cultivation and processing of organic products and herbs.
