Registration Deadline for “KANS Scientific Competition” Is Extended

 

According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, the Mustafa Prize is the high symbol of science and technology in the Islamic world, which is given to a top researcher or scientists of the Islamic world every two years. This prize is created out of respect for the prophet of Islam and its emphasis on the science teaching of prophet is his nickname of Mustafa, which means the top. The science and technology foundation of Mustafa has aimed to hold a competition with the title of “KANS” in order to recognize, introduce and appreciate young scientists and researchers of the Islamic world.

This competition will be held for Muslim researchers below 45 years in five areas of health, information and communication technology, water and environment, energy and economy. Presenting solutions based on science to answer problems of societies is one of the important features for evaluating the works of the event.

In this competition, participants must first send their scientific achievement, such as idea, article or invention, to the secretariat of the event in the form of a three-five-minute video. In the first evaluation phase, each of the participants will evaluate five movies based on predetermined criteria by the headquarter, and the top works were selected for the next stage.

Deadline for sending the videos on scientific achievements to the first round of “KANS Scientific Competition”, which will be held along with the Mustafa Prize, is extended to June 15th 2018.

the Mustafa Prize is the high symbol of science and technology in the Islamic world, which is given to a top researcher or scientists of the Islamic world every two years. This prize is created out of respect for the prophet of Islam. This event promotes the appreciation of work of top activists in the area of science and technology in the Islamic world.

According to the executive document of the event, Sorena Sattari (vice president for science and technology affairs) is the head of policy-making council and Mahdi Safarinia (head of Pardis technology park) is the secretary of the policymaking council of the event.
