According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, Sorena Sattari, the vice president for science and technology affairs, stated on the ceremony for unveiling the production line of pharmaceutical and food dryers by a domestic knowledge-based company: one of the main priorities of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs is development of export of industrial products that have a high added-value and conducting support programs, that will facilitate the process of moving of these companies toward export of products.

He pointed out the strategy of the Vice-Presidency for improving the export of knowledge-based companies, expressing: the export mechanism is different for knowledge-based products, compared to traditional products. In this regard, knowledge-based products will be supported in the form of the corridor of export of knowledge-based products.

During this ceremony, Sattari mentioned the abilities of domestic knowledge-based companies in meeting the needs in the area of industrial products, affirming: knowledge-based companies can achieve economic justification in a short period. Fortunately, this knowledge-based industrial unit is a successful example of this type of enterprises that can create a high added-value and meet the needs of one of the industries of the country by producing food and medical equipment and products.

The vice president for science and technology affairs mentioned the key role of knowledge-based equipment of food and medication products, claiming: production equipment are of paramount importance in terms of bringing industrial currency. They are also among the sanctioned products and they can play a significant role in the elimination of needs of domestic industries through export and via the extraordinary market.

Ability in Producing Industrial Freezing Dryers

The vice president for science and technology affairs also visited the TOPCO Arak Company, the first university company for design and construction of industrial and semi-industrial freezer-dryer devices.

Visit of a Technology Unit for Manual Equipment Production

The vice president for science and technology affairs visited the factories that produce IranPotk manual tools during his first travel to Arak.

IranPotk includes various units of design, molding, tool making, forging, machinery, welding, pressing, electroplating, black oxide process, heating operations, coloring, hold fast, aluminum dissect, file, plastic injection, montage and packaging.

In visit of the industrial units of Arak, the vice president for science and technology affairs was accompanied by Seyed Ali Aghazadeh, governor of Markazi province, Peyman Salehi, deputy of innovation and technology commercialization, Parviz Karami, secretary of knowledge-based economy and culture-building development headquarter, and Esmaeil Ghaderifar, head of the strategic technologies development headquarter.
