The annual gathering of connectors of the centers that are member of the strategic technologies laboratory network was held in the presence of more than 160 individuals.

According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, the fifth meeting of connectors of centers of the strategic technologies laboratory network was held with the goal of increasing synergy, transfer of experience and familiarization with other connectors.

Reza Asadifard, manager of strategic technologies laboratory network, reminded the macro goals of the laboratory network, emphasizing the significant role of connectors of centers in the realization of these objectives. according to Asadifard, learning and promotion of network thinking, as well as sharing resources, knowledge and experience are the secret to progress and success. In this regard, he continued: traditional thinking and attention to only personal needs will prevent growth. Breaking these dams will pave the way for creating new ideas in this area.

During the meeting, Salman Taheri, manager of the central laboratory of the research center of chemistry and chemical engineering of Iran, provided a review on the abilities and activities of this research center, asserting: this center has been established since 1989 with the goal of providing fundamental, applied and educational research facilities in all chemistry and chemical engineering areas and fostering the talents and creativity that exists in the country and using the large reserves of oil, gas, mines, metals, medicinal herbs, and providing facilities for semi-industrial production. This center was promoted to the research center of chemistry and chemical engineering in 2007.

On the second part of the event, Zohre Fatah, expert of the laboratory network, explained about the new activity of the laboratory network presented in 2018 and changed in some of the administrative processes of the network.

In the end, the connectors of the laboratory network and guests of the program visited the equipment and laboratory abilities of the research center of chemistry and chemical engineering.
