The biotechnology development headquarter has aimed to develop and produce drugs with the cooperation of the working group of advanced drugs.

According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, the working group of advanced drugs will accelerate the process of developing these drugs with the goal of producing the advanced drugs required in the country with the help of domestic experts.

In this regard, one of the solutions is developing five startups in Baran Accelerator of Tehran and nationalizing the accelerators for development of five startups outside Tehran, which will be operationalized in future years.

In addition, this working group will help the acceleration of producing advanced drugs in the country by extracting the information of companies, assessing the process and vision of developing drugs, analyzing the future of the market and presenting the priority of diseases in the country.

Promoting and supporting the structure of drug knowledge-based companies with the goal of making them exportive through software support and paying financial incentives in the form of Iranian national science foundation are other goals of this working group.
