Preserving and Exploiting the Environment, Soil and Water Resources should Be Tied to Public Benefits and Culture

 

According to the public relations and information center of the presidency vice presidency for science and technology affairs, the closing ceremony of the second national festival and exhibition on idea, start-up and unison of knowledge-based companies was held today evening with presence of Dr. Soorena Sattari, the presidency vice president for science and technology affairs and Isa kalantari, head of department of environment in agriculture research, education and propagation organization.

In this ceremony, Nader Qoli Ibrahimi , secretary of the environment, soil, and water technologies development headquarter of the vice presidency for science affairs mentioned the necessity of publicizing the culture of preserving water and soil resources for next generations and said: The culture of environment, soil and water resources management has to be publicized. If this field’s benefits are tied up with public benefits and this field’s outcomes are tied up to solving society’s needs and challenges, we will definitely witness manufacturing continuity and the next generation’s use of these resources.

Ibrahimi considered new technologies maturity helping knowledge-based businesses’ blossom as an opportunity for better exploitation of local capacities of water, soil and environment.

Secretary of the second national festival and exhibition on idea, start-up and unison of knowledge-based companies mentioned that 107 technologist and knowledge-based companies welcomed this festival.

According to him, idea-owners’ receipt of this festival was desirable and 207 idea-owner have provided their ideas in festival-based topics from which 47 ideas reached the semi-final stage and 17 ones awarded ultimately and will be supported for commercialization and turning idea to business.

Signing a Strategic Memorandum on Environment, Soil and Water Fields

A memorandum titled “Pattern project of farming fish in cage” was signed between vice presidency for science affairs and Iran Fisheries Organization at the closing ceremony of the second national festival and exhibition on idea, start-up and unison of knowledge-based companies.

Signing this memorandum’s goal is to extend farming fish in cage industry and using domestic and foreign capacities, experiences and facilities as well as fishery cooperative for creating jobs and passive defense.

Appreciating Superior Ideas

The laureate ideas managed to reach the final stage of the festival were appreciated at the end of this ceremony with presence of vice president for science and technology affairs, head of department of environment and secretary of the second national festival and exhibition on idea, start-up and unison of knowledge-based companies.

There were some laureates from the school student’s section.

Based on this report, the second national festival and exhibition on environment, soil and water technologies started on December 3nd at agriculture research, education and propagation organization site supported by the presidency vice presidency for science and technology affairs and ended on December 5th.
