According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, holding festivals and exhibitions is one of the solutions used by the traditional medicine and medicinal herbs sciences and technology development headquarter to use new technologies in this field and witness growth more than ever.

After holding three successful rounds of the event, the fourth round of the festival and exhibition of medical plants, natural products and traditional medicine will be held with maximum cooperation of science and business activists, enthusiasts of the field and beneficiaries during November 12^th-15^th, 2018 in Imam Khomeini Mosala of Tehran.

Event Goals

The fourth festival and exhibition of medical plants, natural products and traditional medicine will be held to introduce the latest scientific and industrial advancements in technological products of medical plants and natural products in line with the development of non-oil economy, national consensus to remove barriers to the development of the medicinal plants industry, which is regarded as natural wealth, improvement and promotion of knowledge-based economy as constructive enthusiasm for moving toward economy of resistance based on the ecosystem of entrepreneurship.

The fourth festival and exhibition of medical plants, natural products and traditional medicine will cover the topics of industry of seed and reproductive organs of medicinal plants, publication of works related to medicinal plants and traditional medicine, education on industry of medical plants and traditional medicine, distribution network of medical plants and herbal medicine, traditional medicine and related products, and herbal teas.

The fourth festival and exhibition of medical plants, natural products and traditional medicine contains five sections, including the exhibition of medical plants and natural products, student festival, Iranian medicine health center, technomart (innovations in the medical plant industry), exhibition of live plants (herbartum), and hall for introduction of asset and opportunities of this industry in provinces of the country.
