A region in west of Tehran and the surrounding environment of Sharif University of Industry has been considered to establish the energy technology development center so that soon we would witness the gathering of startups, accelerators, and knowledge-based companies in this field.

According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, a cooperation agreement was signed between the energy technologies development headquarter, strategic technologies development center, and the renewable energies association of the chamber of commerce of industries, mines and agriculture some time ago, according to which it was decided to establish a center for energy technologies development.

In this center, which is a place for basing knowledge-based companies, startups and accelerators in the energy field, activities will be organized. Establishment of this center must be regarded as a step toward focusing on idea and innovation creation in the energy field.

Around Sharif University of Industry, an industrial shed exists in the west of Tehran with an old building, which is considered as the location of this center so that it could be the place for gathering of startups and accelerators of the energy field with high-quality equipment. In this visit, Kambiz Mahdizadeh Farsad, secretary of energy technologies development headquarter, emphasized the acceleration of pace of activities for equipping he center so that the center could be established in a short time. Establishment of this center must be considered as a movement for making progress in development of energy technologies.
