More than Two Thousand and 500 Art Works Have Been Delivered to “Made in Iran” Festival

 

At the end of the registration deadline for sending works to the second “Made in Iran” festival, two thousand and 824 works of applicants were received.

According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs quoted by the news headquarter of the second national, cultural, and art festival of “Made in Iran”, this round of the event will be held in fields of literature, visual arts, audiovisual media, digital media, idea market, and student concomitantly with the year of “supporting Iranian products”. In this round, 474 works have been sent to the literature sector, including 211 short stories, 224 poems, and 39 documentaries.

In addition, the works sent to the visual arts section included 840 works, including 93, 305, 230, and 212 works in the fields of visualization, poster, animation (caricature) and photographs, respectively. However, the photography section of the festival will be held in the form of the festival of image of the year.

In the audiovisual section, 909 works have been received, 66 of which are related to advertisement teasers, whereas 166, 57, 81, 194, and 345 works are delivered in sections of short films, animation, TV programs, and radio programs, respectively.

In addition, 264 works have been sent to the digital media section of the festival, where 48 works are related to computer games while 11, 17, 90, 22, and 76 works are related to smart system, social media, cellphone apps, multimedia software, and websites, respectively.

The idea market, which is related to creative ideas with topics of methods for introducing, advertising, and promoting Iranian products, innovative entrepreneurs, patterns and models of high-risk investment, venture capitals and top accelerators, and applicable final theses, received a total of 230 works.

On the other hand, the new section of student has been added to the festival due to the significant importance of the presence and role of students in the society. In this respect, 107 works have been received in this section.

According to this report, the primary selection of the works of the second round of the festival has been initiated, and the judging panel will soon initiate the final selection of works very soon.

The second national, cultural and art festival of “Made in Iran” will be held December 25th-29th, 2018 with the goals of mainstreaming and content production for cyberspace related to the cycle of commercialization, entrepreneurship and knowledge-based economy, support of Iranian-made knowledge-based products and services, organizing excessive import and valuating high-quality Iranian products and services, and helping the branding of high-quality Iranian products. It should be noted that various sections of the festival include literature, visual arts, audiovisual economy, digital media and idea market and student section, which will be carried out by the efforts of the knowledge-based economy and culture-building technologies development headquarter and with the help of Parviz Karami, secretary of the mentioned headquarter.
