More than 36 billion IRT has been collected in the Mustafa Prize
According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, the fourth meeting of the annual gathering of investment foundation of Mustafa Prize was held in the presence of the founding delegation of the foundation and some of the donors in the field.
In the beginning of the meeting, Mahdi Safarinia, secretary of policy-making council of the event, pointed out the organization of side programs of the festival as a scientific foundation, explaining: a major part of investment resources of the Mustafa Prize has been provided by those who are present today, which has increased competition activities.
In terms of attracting financial resources in the past six months, he claimed: the investment fund and the endowments of the Mustafa Prize has currently attracted 25 billion IRT, and the total attracted asset in the foundation is 36 billion and 700 million IRT.
Secretary of the policy-making council of the Mustafa Prize expressed: today, extensive efforts have been dedicated to creating interactions with volunteering representatives of Mustafa science and technology foundation with the title of Mustafa ambassadors in various countries. To date, we have been able to interact with countries of Oman, India, Lebanon, Iraq, Pakistan, Russia, Indonesia, and Kuwait.
Safarinia continued: among the most important activities of the Mustafa Prize in the past six months have been the development of activities of the Mustafa Ambassador Club, holding the third round of Noor Student Competition, Commemoration of Ibn Razaz Jazri by sending more than four thousand works from the Islamic countries of the world, ending of the registration duration of KANZ science competition with the cooperation of more than five hundred students from 15 countries, final agreement between the Mustafa Foundation and Sultan Qaboos University of Oman for holding the fourth round of science and technology exchange program (STEP) in Oman, meeting to familiarize investors with scientific achievements, second round of which was held in Oman along with the STEP meeting, and creation of five research opportunities for students of the Islamic World.
The Mustafa Prize, the high sign of science and technology in the Islamic world, is given to the top researcher and scientists of the Islamic world every two years. The Mustafa Prize recognizes, introduces and awards the top science and technology works in the Islamic world, promoting science learning and research in Islamic societies. According to the executive document of the Mustafa Prize, Sorena Sattari (the vice president for science and technology affairs) and Mahdi Safarinia (president of the Pardis Technology Park) are the head and secretary of policy-making council, respectively.
