Knowledge-based companies are the tip of the arrow of dealing with sanctions

 

The vice president for science and technology affairs stated: by relying on their innovative and creative human resources, knowledge-based companies continue to improve and deal with limitations and sanctions as the tip of an arrow.

According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, Sorena Sattari, the vice president for science and technology affairs, reminded the effectiveness of knowledge-based companies in the economy of the country in a meeting with the representative of the supreme leader in Ilam, adding: looking at the surrounding environment, we see that the role of knowledge-based companies and startups is evident in the country"s economic progress, and the growth of this process accelerates with the empathy and coordination of the sectors of society to develop the innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem.

Sattari emphasized that development must occur based on inherited and domestic features, continuing: we should not force the province to make changes that are incompatible to its indigenous characteristics, and the development of polluting and low-cost industries is the result of the development of petroleum thinking and the injection of government money into these industries.

Sattari asserted: the law to support knowledge-based companies is the most important mission of the Vice-Presidency in establishing the innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem. While there were only 50 knowledge-based companies in 2013, today we have more than four thousand companies active in this field.

Sattari pointed out the inseparable nature of university in the chain of idea to wealth in the society, claiming: it must be at the heart of the community and solve the problems. Knowledge-based and technology-based entrepreneurship should be developed by the university and lead venture capital investment toward creative ideas and innovations for creative and entrepreneurial young people. 

The vice president for science and technology affairs regarded knowledge-based and startup companies the fighter of the front of dealing with sanctions, expressing: the most important art of startup knowledge-based companies is that they continue their work in sanctions since their business is created based on knowledge and innovation. In fact, these businesses are the tip of the arrow for eliminating barriers.

Knowledge-based Has Created a New Horizon for the Country

During this meeting, Ayatollah Karimitabar expressed: what has been done by the Vice-Presidency in the field of knowledge-based is creating a new horizon and view for the future of the country.

Ayatollah Karimitabar pointed out the inherited capacities of the province, expressing: more than 80 million oaks exist in the province that have been neglected. In addition, medicinal plants in the province are another native capacity of Ilam, which flourishes with the support of the infrastructure of the knowledge economy.
