These people will be the winners of the field of entrepreneurship and occupation in dealing with traditional businesses and industries related to resource-based economy due to their innovation.

According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, Sorena Sattari, the vice president for science and technology affairs emphasized the maintenance of human resources as the most important necessity for realization of knowledge-based economy during his meeting with the knowledge-based activists of the province.

Sattari pointed out the necessity of laying the groundwork for startup and knowledge-based businesses, expressing: realization of the innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem in the province requires the support of these businesses. By implementation of a parts of the law to support knowledge-based companies, a proper environment has been provided for these businesses.

The vice president for science and technology affairs pointed out the formation and activities of more than three thousand and 700 knowledge-based companies in the country as the result of formation of this environment.

General Empathy for Moving toward Knowledge-based Economy

The president of the national elites foundation regarded the formation of a business environment to be depending on a general empathy and spontaneous moving of the province toward cultural correction. In this regard, he stated: trust and believe in the youth with applicable ideas will lead to the formation of this environment in the province, which will result in the correction of the economy and industry of the province in the future.

Sattari mentioned the acceptable capacities of Golestan Province in the area of knowledge-based businesses, reminding: this province has a good capacity in various sections, including tourism, agriculture, information and communication technology, and biotechnology medicinal herbs, and is able to establish several startups.

He emphasized the support of knowledge-based activities, asserting: closing businesses and placing barriers to the path of entrepreneurs is a serious betrayal to the country. Disappointing the creative youth is a big mistake. In fact, serious efforts must be dedicated to the facilitation of these business in the province.

The vice president for science and technology affairs pointed out that the structure of knowledge-based economy is formed by shaping the chains of the innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem, adding: the structure of knowledge-based economy demands an entrepreneurship ecosystem, including new education, accelerators and venture capitals. In this ecosystem, which is formed by the private sector, all infrastructures of the province will be provided as a science and technology park working on the growth and development of innovative businesses.

Sattari regarded concluding contracts to establish accelerators with the help of the Vice-Presidency and the science and technology park of Golestan and another knowledge-based company of the province as an act toward this issue.

Knowledge-based and Startup Companies Are the Winners of the Field of Economy

The vice president for science and technology affairs considered startups and knowledge-based companies as the winners of the field of fighting against traditional businesses and polluting industries.

The president of the knowledge-based economy, technology and science development headquarter emphasized the necessity of using the creative capacity of knowledge-based companies by traditional structures, affirming: in order to survive, the traditional structure must use the innovation and technologies of knowledge-based and startup businesses. In fact, transformation of this industry occurs by the associations with innovative areas.

According to Sattari, a desirable quality based on society needs is one of the features of flourishing of knowledge-based businesses and startups.

Opening of an Innovation Center in Golestan Province

The building of the innovation center of the science and technology park of Golestan Province was inaugurated in the presence of the vice president for science and technology affairs and governor of Golestan.

Golestan Takes Another Step toward the Regional Biotechnology Pole

During this travel, a trilateral joint cooperation agreement was signed by the vice president for science and technology affairs, governor of Golestan and CEO of Vision Pharmacy Knowledge-based Co. in line with the development of biotechnology in the province.

This agreement was signed by Sorena Sattari, the vice president for science and technology affairs, Seyed Manaf Hashemi, governor of Golestan, Esmaeil Ghaderifar, head of the strategic technologies development center, Majid Shahbazi, representative of the mentioned knowledge-based company to develop the establishment of a private accelerator in the area of pharmaceutical biotechnology in Golestan province, support unique and innovative ideas, new companies, startups and knowledge-based companies in the area of biotechnology, and use new financial tools (venture capitals) in the area of research and technology to reduce the risk of investment. In addition, application of available capacities in the area of biotechnology and knowledge-based companies and legal aspects of this field will be followed up. In this regard, the first stage has been investment with the value of five billion IRT in order to develop biotechnology in Golestan Province.

Meeting with the Representative of Imam Khamenei in Golestan

During this travel, Sattari met with Ayatollah Nourmofidi, the representative of Imam Khomeini in Golestan. In this meeting, they talked about the local capacities of the province and emphasized the importance of empathy and integrity to support the creative human resources of the province.
