Knowledge-based Companies Stand Against Sanctions with the Support of the Vice-Presidency for Science and Technology Affairs

Emphasizing the support of knowledge-based companies and startups, the vice president for science and technology affairs announced the success of implementation of programs to deal with sanctions with the help of knowledge-based companies in terms of special products.

According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, Sattari answered the questions of journalists during his one-day travel to Markazi Province.

In addition to congratulating the week of government, Sattari regarded the capacities of Markazi Province valuable considering its industrial background, stating: support of knowledge-based companies will continue with all power.

The president for national elites foundation talked about the status of knowledge-based companies, compared to last year, expressing: one of the factors for development of knowledge-based companies has been sanctions. By relying on domestic experts and localizing products, knowledge-based companies have been able to deal with sanctions and improve their status.

Widespread Programs of the Vice-Presidency to Deal with Sanctions

Sattari pointed out the programs of the Vice-Presidency and support of companies to deal with these sanctions, stating: we have extended programs in various fields, including pharmaceutical raw materials, livestock, poultry and fish, animal and human vaccines, and will continue the support of knowledge-based companies with all power.

Occupation of 300,000 Employees

Pointing out the services provided by the Vice-Presidency, Sattari marked: the Vice-Presidency provides 140 services to knowledge-based companies and startups depending on their situation and type of performance. Some of these services include tax exemptions and low-interest facilities.

Sattari added: currently, there are 4500 knowledge-based companies in the country, which have been able to create 300,000 direct jobs, which is separate from in-direct jobs.

At the end, Sattari announced the sales rate of 90,000 billion tomans, expecting a 30% increase in the knowledge-based companies until the end of the year.
