Joint cooperation between Iran and China in the area of nanotechnology will increase

 

The nano office of Iran and China has been established in Guangzhou, China. This center is created in line with the acceleration of joint collaborations between Iran and China in the area of nanotechnology area and with the goal of increasing the interactions between Chinese and Iranian companies in this field.

According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, the office of Iran and China at the south of China was inaugurated in the presence of Saeed Sarkar, secretary of nanotechnology development headquarter, Khalil Shirgholami, consulate of Islamic Republic of Iran in Guangzhou, and in the presence of representatives of Chinese organizations.

This center is established in the Huangpu district of Guangzhou to develop joint cooperation between Iran and China by nanotechnology development headquarter. To develop the office, the commission of industry and technology of municipality of Guangzhou, chamber of commerce of Guangzhou and STOIP has had cooperation with the nanotechnology development headquarter. Huangpu is one of the central areas for technology development in this city.

Sarkar explained about the position of Iran and China in nanotechnology and the reasons for establishing the center, affirming: China has been ranked first in various areas of nanotechnology in the world. In an article recently published by Americans in the valid international publication, Iran was recognized as the fifth top country of the world.

Nano office and exhibition of Iran is held in a modern building with the area of 200 meters in the Huangpu district, which is a central area for technology development. In this regard, the nanotechnology headquarter, commission of industry and technology of municipality of Guangzhou, chamber of commerce of Guangzhou and STOIP have collaborated.

In line with the program of inaugurating the nano office of Iran and China, a half-a-day symposium on the development and commercialization of nanotechnology was held in Iran and China, during which Iranian and Chinese faculty members exchanged information, experiences and new ideas and decided to hold a face-to-face meeting in November to carry out the necessary collaborations. Moreover, a strategic cooperation document was signed between Guangzhou Promotion and Development New Materials and Nanotechnology Center of Iran and China.

With the initiative of the agency last year, two large-scale seminars and a meeting between the officials of the Nano Headquarters and the Iranian nanotechnology producers and Chinese parties opened up a vast and prestigious space for cooperation in the field of nanotechnology in southern China that has led to Four contracts for the sale of nanotechnology products by Iranian companies in Guangdong Province and Hunan Province have cost millions of dollars.

The creation of the nanotechnology office in Guangzhou after the first office in the city of Suzhou in eastern China in 2016 could, given the vast capacities of southern China, especially Guangdong Province and Guangzhou, as one of the most important industrial, technological and trade hubs In China, there will be a lot of added value in future cooperation. The Guangzhou office is also expected to track cooperation in the field of medical equipment technology and create a market for technology-centric companies in the area.

  At the end of the program, an overview of the achievements of the Islamic Republic of Iran in the field of nanotechnology was carried out.
