Joint Projects Will Be Designed between Iran and Germany on Energy Field
The energy technologies development headquarter hosted a delegation from Germany to develop the cooperation on energy and environment fields. In this regard, a working group will be soon established to manage the joint projects.
According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, Kambiz Mahdizadeh Farsad, secretary of energy technologies development headquarter, expressed his hope about the output of the meeting as a new area for development of joint cooperation between Iran and Germany during the meeting with the delegation from Germany.
He also pointed out the supportive role of the Vice-Presidency in the development of international cooperation, asserting: Iran has complied with all its obligations under the Paris Treaty, and the headquarter has aimed to establish a working group with the cooperation of relevant units to facilitate international cooperation in this area. By doing so, we will soon witness accelerated activities in this area. In addition, during the period after sanctions against Iran, the main emphasis has been on extensive interactions with the world to solve the current problems and development the country.
This joint meeting was held between the members of energy technologies development headquarter and a German delegation to evaluate issues, such as implementation of environment projects within the framework of Paris Treaty and low carbon projects. Design of an energy market mechanism in Iran, execution of environment projects in the area of elimination of metal gas and establishment of a green island as pilot for cooperation between Iranian and German companies were topics presented by the headquarter.
In addition, a company was introduced to Iran by the German delegation as the custodian for following up and implementing projects in Iran. According to the representative of this company, presence of a cohesive and correct structure for management and implementation of projects is necessary. However, the headquarter will provide the necessary facilities to design the essential mechanisms in this respect.
According to this report, three suggested packets in the area of deign and implementation of energy projects in remote areas, use of ability of note 12 in the law for elimination of barriers to competitive production and recognition of investment in the area of new energies were presented by the headquarter. At the end of the meeting, it was designed to establish a working group for management of joint projects by the management of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs and energy technologies development headquarter within the framework of the joint working group and by involving all key beneficiaries and essential decision-makers of the country.
Kambiz Mahdizadeh Farsad, secretary of energy technologies development headquarter, representative of economy ministry of Germany, head of the Iran section of German Middle East Cooperation Office, manager of economic affairs of ministry of Germany and the company affiliated with the economy research center of Germany were some of the attendees of this meeting.
