Iran-Kenya cooperation to develop water and wastewater technologies is increasing; Made an opportunity to export Iranian products

A business meeting was held between the Kenyan and Iranian delegations to develop cooperation in the field of water and sewage under the auspices of the Vice Presidency of Science and Technology.

In coordination with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Vice President for Science and Technology and the Water and Wastewater Market Coordination Center hosted a Kenyan trade delegation to demonstrate Iran's capabilities in the field of water and wastewater and to increase cooperation with this country. Take a step.

Technology companies, knowledge-based and creative companies, and industrial manufacturers attended the meeting. Its purpose was also the development of water and sewage technologies, education, technology transfer, export of water and sewage products.

Therefore, the transfer of water and wastewater knowledge and technology to Kenya was pursued as one of the topics discussed at the meeting.  Technologies such as water treatment, water transfer, management and utilization of water resources and optimization of consumption in agriculture and urban areas.

The meeting was attended by Kenyan city officials such as the mayor, city officials and managers, representatives of organizations active in the field of water and sewage, and businessmen of the country and held joint meetings with Iranian companies and artisans to discuss Iran's capabilities in the field of water and sewage become familiar.

Of course, to develop the export of Iranian products and services made to Kenya, issues were also raised so that we can see a boom in exports in this field. In this regard, a memorandum of understanding was prepared at this meeting. The aim was to develop cooperation and joint actions between the two countries.

The capacity of the Iranian-made Technology Innovation and Export House in Kenya will also be used, and the permanent exhibition of this house will display technological and knowledge-based products from the field of water and sewage.
