According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, the nanotechnology development headquarter signed a memorandum of understanding with Refah Chain Stores to present nano products in these stores. According to this agreement, Refah Chain Stores will sell nano products approved by the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs.

Saeed Sarkar, secretary of nanotechnology development headquarter, stated: the main problem of knowledge-based companies is presenting their products in the market. With regard to the capacity of Refah Chain Stores, this joint cooperation will lead to the flourishing of selling nano products. This valuable step will develop the market for nano products so that this type of products could enter the life of people.

He added: currently, people are unable to detect nano products from similar products. With regard to the positive attitude of society members toward this technology, the nanotechnology development headquarter has aimed to act as the legal authority that confirms the quality of these products. We need to dedicate extensive efforts to create a positive attitude in people toward this technology and lay the foundation for expansion of market and higher production level of knowledge-based companies.

According to Sarkar, another issue is specialized occupation or increasing the quality of jobs. In general, increasing occupations for the graduates will be associated with more jobs created in this regard, resulting in direct wealth and development of the country.

According to this memorandum of understanding, the nanotechnology development headquarter will introduce the knowledge-based companies approved by the headquarter to Refah Chain Stores and also monitor the periodic quality control of products of knowledge-based companies. On the other hand, Refah Chain Stores will introduce, advertise and present nanoproducts in their stores.
