Chairman of Iran national space administration stated: in the section of aircraft engine construction, we need to use the domestic technological knowledge which is fortunately in the hands of Iranian scientists.

According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, Manouchehr Manteghi, chairman of Iran national space administration, expressed about the advancements made in the field of airplane pieces construction in Iran: airplane is an international product. When we talk about localization and construction inside the country does not mean that all pieces must be supplied inside. However, we need to use the domestic technical knowledge in the engine construction section which has been obtained by Iran.

He continued: purchasing airplanes and receiving the technologies relevant to the aviation field must be carried out in parallel. This is something that has been done in all aircraft producing companies.

Manteghi also asserted: when the technical knowledge for design and construction of the body and engine of aircrafts exists in foreign companies, it is better to use companies to transfer technology in this regard and not just buy airplanes.
