Secretary of the biotechnology development headquarter stated: currently, there are complex technologies in the world of biomedicine, which have been achieved by the Iranian youth.

According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, Mostafa Ghanei, secretary of the biotechnology development headquarter, expressed about achieving the ability to produce biomedicine in Iran: some biomedicines have complicated technologies and are produced only by some of the countries. However, Iran has joined this group of drug manufacturers.

He added: the quality of medications produced in Iran is equal to its foreign counterparts, and there is no difference between the medications in the world and in Iran in terms of pharmaceutical effects.

According to Ghanei, one of the drugs that has a complicated technology and is only produced by a company in Denmark, is Factor VII and VIII drugs, produced by the Iranian youth. Therefore, Iran is the second country with the ability to produce this medication.

Secretary of the biotechnology development headquarter asserted: when we talk about a product, it means that its relevant knowledge has been generated in the country. When we talk about knowledge, it means that the necessary human resources of this field is supplied in the country.

He continued: we must use the expertise of the youth in producing biomedicines since the current sanctions against Iran have made it difficult to meet pharmaceutical needs of the community. The only solution to survive is using the expertise and abilities of the youth and academics of the country.
