According to the Public Relations and information Center of the Vice-Presidency for Science and Technology, Manouchehr Manteghi, chairman of Iran national space administration, talked about the position of Iran in the industry of airplane repair and maintenance, stating: by entering airplanes to Iran since the first decade this century, our repair and maintenance units have been organized by entering larger and heavier airplans.
Currently, there is a considerable number of airplane repair and maintenance centers in the country, which have proper experiences in this regard due to having specialized human resource and required equipment.
He added: these centers perform type A, B and C and sometimes D checks on airplanes and only respond to domestic needs.
According to Manteghi, the challenges in this industry in Iran include investment and human resources, contract human resources and age of air force. In the area of human resources and investments, since human resources are the cause of use of other factors in this industry, educational of these individuals can increase the share of work in the economy of industry, leading to investment in this field.
He continued: investment resources include tools, machineries, building, raw materials, and products and equipment in storage units, which when combined with human factors, can provide repair and maintenance services to customers.
