The marine knowledge-based industries and technologies development headquarter has aimed to establish the Iran Marine Data Base (imarine.ir) to improve the scientific level of students with work and industry condition of the country.

According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, development of knowledge and technology in the country requires training specialized workforce, familiarized with industrial condition of the country. Therefore, the marine knowledge-based industries and technologies development headquarter has aimed to implement its plans on easy access to scientific, educational and specialized marine data with the cooperation of marine units in order to improve the scientific level of students with work and industry condition of the country.
