Secretary of biotechnology development headquarter announced the defining and improving the standards in the agricultural area of biotechnology environment and equipment.

According to the Public Relations and information Center of the Vice-Presidency for Science and Technology, Mostafa Ghanei, secretary of biotechnology development headquarter stated about the programs of the headquarter in the area of agriculture, stating: the standard committee of the bio economy workgroup has been formed to advance the goals of the headquarter in the area of standardization.

He added: this committee is designed by exploiting research performed in the workgroup in the area of standards of biotechnology area and study of biotechnology institutional mapping in the country to provide a comprehensive model for facilitation of design of standards in the area, where the country has had a sufficient growth, including biotechnology, environmental biotechnology and equipment of biotechnology.

According to Ghanei, this workgroup has defined a model for each section based on the following elements, including governmental policy-making organizations, elites, screening committee in the biotechnology headquarter and private sector companies in order to establish the standard committee of the bio economy workgroup of the headquarter.
