Seyed Kamal Kharazi mentioned that the development and progress of the country depends on scientific authority, adding: talented individuals and elite youth play an important role in the authority of the country.

According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, Seyed Kamal Kharazi, advisor to the vice president for science and technology affairs on cognitive sciences, regarded the recognition of top talents as a valuable step toward the promotion and improvement of knowledge and technologies in the country during his speech on the closing ceremony of the sixth round of student cognitive neuroscience tournament.

He also marked: the cognitive sciences and technologies development headquarter has taken positive steps toward the promotion and improvement of cognitive sciences and technologies at the country’s level. It is aimed to help the flourishing of talents by holding student competitions and supplying the equipment required for research projects in educational spaces.

According to this report, cognitive neuroscience competitions will be held to familiarize high school students with cognitive science and to promote this knowledge at educational level with the support of the national science talent development center in collaboration with the national center for talent education at the ministry of education each year.

Some of the goals of this competition include the familiarization of students with science and technology and connecting their research activities in high school with their future research activities in the university and strengthening the spirit and culture of teamwork and cooperation with other students.
