Import of Biotechnological Products Will Decrease by the Development of Activity of Accelerators

Secretary of the biotechnology development headquarter pointed out the necessity of development of activity of accelerators in the country, emphasizing the support of formation of specialized accelerators in the field of biotechnology by the headquarter.

According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, Mostafa Ghanei, secretary of biotechnology development headquarter, talked about the formation of biotechnological accelerators in the country, asserting: development of accelerators in the field of medicine and biotechnology has been transformational, and some of the accelerators have had positive effects on the market.

He added: one of the most important goals of the headquarter is supporting the formation of accelerators in the country since they are created by the efforts of the talented youth and have a high potential for making a change in the biotechnology field.

According to Ghanei, active biotechnology accelerators in the country are active in different fields such as medicine, vaccination, probiotic, cosmetics, medical equipment, recombinant drugs, diagnostic kit, e-health, advanced drugs and nano drugs.

Secretary of biotechnology development headquarter believes that the import of biotechnology products and exit of currency from the country decrease if the activity of accelerators is expanded.
