According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, the first Dizaten event from the category of events to develop products is designed in the form of a nine-day event in order to improve the necessary abilities to turn dispersed comic strip products in the country into the industry of comic strip.

Over nine days, the participants will show their art abilities (in three categories of writing, illustrating and directing) and receive the necessary capabilities for industrial production of comic strips (including team making, team work and project management) under the supervision of an experienced person and during a specific process. Participants of this event will prepare the pre-production of their desired comic strip in addition to improving their abilities.

The majority of Iranian audience of comic strips purchase the western and eastern products online and through different websites. Therefore, it was decided to provide a condition for teams in order to share their experiences and learn about the taste of audiences. This important task has been carried out with the cooperation of some websites and translating groups, which provide different products to audiences. In addition, professional users of these websites will provide counseling for participating teams during the formation of comic strips, so that the products could have a better applicability in the market and attract more audiences.

At the end of the event, the teams will present their pre-production of comic strips to publishers and investors in order to connect two chains of content production and presentation and bringing the outputs of the event closer to the business environment.

The content produced in various stages of the event will be used by websites to gather the opinion of professional audiences of comic strips and Manga and to determine the selected team.

The Dizaten will be held by the support of the soft and identity-making technologies development headquarter, center of cooperation for development and progress, innovation accelerating center, national elites foundation, as well as Taghche and Fantasima apps.

Registration deadline for the event (online and on EVAND website) is April 3^rd-14^th, 2018. The event will be held for nine days during April 25^th-May 3^rd 2018 at the flourishing complex of knowledge-based companies with the address of No. 24, on the corner of East Zayandehroud St., intersection of Molasadra Blvd. and Kordestan Highway, Tehran, Iran.
