The convergent technology strategic center will hold an event entitled “Bio Printing” to witness the development of activities in this field.

According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, “Bio Printing” is the title of an event that will be held with the aim of creating product-oriented experience in the development of bio-tissues. Tissue engineering is an interdisciplinary field, experts and researchers of which aim to develop fundamental studies to applicable and product-oriented studies. This approach has increasingly improved due to the emergence of new tools and technologies, promising a brighter future in this field.

The audience of this event is selected experts and researchers in the field of bio-tissue engineering and development, who can send their proposals to the event. After being approved, the selected projects will enter the operational stage of sample printing. Afterwards, the printed samples will be delivered to each team for bio and mechanical testing, and the results will be announced in June 2019. In addition, the operational stage will be initiated on December 12^th 2018 in the presence of six teams.
