Ghadir Innovation and Technology Complex is opened

Ghadir Innovation and Technology Complex was opened during the travel of Sorena Sattari, the vice president for science and technology affairs, to Isfahan. With an area of five thousand square meters, the complex will be a suitable space for the expansion of activities of knowledge-based and technological companies in the province.

Marketing and sales offices of knowledge-based companies will be established in Ghadir Innovation and Technology Complex. The creation of this center will be another step toward the development of knowledge-based and technological activities in the province. In addition, the building is near centers such as Isfahan’s chamber of commerce and other organizations active in the field of commerce and business.

During his travel to Isfahan Province, Sattari visited the knowledge-based achievements of the region, stating: facilitating the issuance of licenses for technology activists and knowledge-based is one of the key pillars of technology development and innovation in the country. Eliminating time-consuming processes and aggregating required permissions in a single window is one of the measures that can reduce licensing problems.

Sattari continued: knowledge-based products must pass several tests called clinical trials to obtain a license. Fortunately, memorandums of understanding have been signed between the Vice-Presidency, ministry of health and ministry of agriculture. 

The vice president for science and technology affairs also affirmed: according to the follow-ups made in the field, knowledge-based companies can use special lines created to take the necessary tests in a shorter duration and receive a license sooner.

The head of the headquarters for culture knowledge-based economy pointed out some statements made about the necessities of facilities provided to knowledge-based companies and startups, adding: much of the support needed in this area is related to licenses and facilitating the business environment.

He claimed: the main component of the ecosystem of knowledge-based economy is talent, not money. Of course, providing financial facilities is also in the service basket and the necessary measures have always been taken in this regard.

Regarding the issue of COVID-19, the national development fund has allocated 450 billion Tomans to knowledge-based companies damaged by corona.

Pointing out the success of companies active in the battle against corona, Sattari mentioned: the deliberate facilities paid in this regard led to a significant boom in the production of products needed to combat the virus. This made the country needless to import medical and protective items needed to fight the virus.

The travel of Sattari to Isfahan was accompanied by opening several innovation and technology development projects. Opening the first private science and technology park of the country with an area of 23 hectares was one of the large projects, the executive operation of which was initiated with the support of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs. 

Opening Talash Workshop Complex with an area of three thousand square meters was another event.

The beginning of the construction operation of Isfahan Innovation Factory is one of the other planned programs in this one-day trip. Sattari will also meet with many technology activists, provincial officials and Isfahan private sector managers.
