Fourty knowledge-based companies are going to Armenia to expand the market for Made in Iran products

The Iran Business and Technology Summit will be held in Armenia from February 19 to March 1. This event is an attempt to develop the market for Made in Iran products.

International communication is one of the basic necessities in the process of internationalization of companies and export of products and services. One of the effective measures in this field is the presence of these companies in the form of trade delegations in other countries. The Vice Presidency of Science and Technology is also one of the sponsors of this work and has provided a suitable space for their presence at the international level.

In the last days of February and the first of March of this year, a 40-member trade delegation will leave Iran for Armenia. The technology delegation will be sent to the country with the support of the International Science and Technology Interaction Center in the Vice Presidency of Science and Technology and the Innovation and Prosperity Fund.

Armenia is one of Iran's northern neighbors and the main current relations between the two countries can be considered the export of Iranian gas to Armenia and the import of electricity from that country. Another joint economic project between the two countries mentioned the construction of two hydropower plants on the Aras River on the border between the two countries. Due to the long-standing relations between the two countries, there is room for the development of a bilateral market between them.

The development of the knowledge-based market is one of the goals of this 4-day trip, which will take place in the presence of Mehdi Ghalehvani, director of the Center for International Science and Technology Interactions in the Vice Presidency of Science and Technology.
