According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, Sorena Sattari, the vice president for science and technology affairs, stated on the ceremony for execution of 22 telecommunication and information technology projects of companies of airports and air navigation of the country: over the past few years, Iranian researchers have carried out significant tasks to achieve local technologies of aerial industry, especially in the area of commercialization and engineering. This is interpreted as serious determination to move toward self-efficacy and it must be continued to pave the way for knowledge-based companies.

Sattari stated: concluding contracts between the Vice-Presidency and Airports and Air Navigation company can be a turning point for achieving new technologies in the aerial industry for industrialists and elites of the country, especially activists of knowledge-based companies. 

Necessity of Localization of Technologies in Aerial Industries

The vice president for science and technology affairs emphasized the necessity of innovation and localization of aerial industry and technology as developers of other technologies.

Universities of the Start Points of knowledge-based Economies

Head of the national elites foundation regarded universities the start point for technology transfer and improvement of knowledge-based economy. In this regard, he stated: an active space must be created for emergence of creativities of academics in the aerial industry of the country toward innovation.

Necessity of Attention to International Standards

Sattari emphasized the serious revision of technology transfer sections of industrial contracts, affirming: we need to seriously change the attitude toward knowledge-based economy and learn new methods to play in the field of industry and technology, so that the abilities of experts, researchers, knowledge-based activities and startups be used as the most important necessity for transfer of knowledge and technology.

The vice president for science and technology affairs mentioned that Iran is currently the fourth producer of engineers in the World, stating: meanwhile, there is no need for this level of engineers in a country that looks for oil-based economy.

Serious Development of Aerial Industry by Iranian Production and Self-efficacy

Rahmatollah Mahabadi, head of airlines and navigation company, pointed out the approach of aerial industry to use domestic technologies for Iranian production and self-efficacy, asserting: creation of a unit entrance will create special opportunities for researchers and scientists of this field.

 

Start of Work of 22 Aerial Industry Projects

In total, 22 telecommunication and information technology projects started in the presence of the vice president for science and technology affairs. The value of these projects will be observed in areas of electronics, telecommunication and information and communication technology. These projects are designed and implemented with the value above 900 billion rials to complete the personnel of airports, turning them into intelligent airports and saving 83 billion rials of currency.

Visit of Technology Achievement Exhibition

The vice president for science and technology affairs along with the CEO of the airports and air navigation company of Iran visited the exhibition of achievements of this field. In this exhibition, active companies in the aerial industry showcase their abilities and achievements mostly in the area of telecommunication and information technologies.

Conclusion of Cooperation Contract to Develop the Aerial Industry of the Country

During the ceremony, a cooperation agreement was signed between the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs and airports and air navigation company. According to this agreement, there will be more interactions and synergy between the two organizations to use the capacity of elites in development of airports.
