Eight technology selling contracts are recorded

Eight technology selling contracts are recorded in the 12th international nanotechnology exhibition of Tehran so that the industry owners witness the flourishing of the businesses of the field by selling knowledge-based products.

According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, the international exhibition of Tehran hosted a part of the technology and innovation ecosystem in nanotechnology field in the country for four days. This was the 12th round of the festival, held as a gathering in the nanotechnology field and attended by 125 knowledge-based companies to showcase their achievements.

On this round of the event, 18 educational workshops will be held that play an important role in exchange of opinions and transfer of nanotechnology experiences.

With regard to the high nano rank of Iran, the exhibition hosted a number of foreign countries. In addition, 55 representatives from European, Asian, and African countries attended the exhibition to see the latest achievements of Iranian knowledge-based companies, reported by Saeed Sarkar, the secretary of nanotechnology development headquarter.

However, the most important phenomenon occurred on the first day. The authorities believe that signing an agreement between the Vice-Presidency and ministry of oil is an important event in the field of nanotechnology. The agreement was signed to increase cooperation on development of the market and use of technology services and products in oil and gas industry. During signing the agreement, Sattari, the vice president for science and technology affairs, talked about the ecosystem and announced that great phenomena will occur until the next two years. Zanganeh, the minister of oil, expressed hope that the agreement will develop the oil industry.

Celebrating the 100th anniversary of the nanotechnology standard was another important event of the exhibition. The 100th national nanotechnology standard is developed with the title of “test method for specification of nanomaterials”. As shown by Sarkar, the standard has been sent by the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs to the national committee of the national standard organization for numbering. Currently, 100 domestic standards and four international standards have been developed by the nanotechnology headquarter. In addition, Iran is ranked third in the world in terms of defining national standards in nanotechnology field. Signing eight cooperation agreements among knowledge-based companies and industry owners was another important phenomenon of the event.
