According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, the second round of the specialized workgroups of I3DL incremental build was held March 3rd-4th, 2018 with the support of the advanced manufacturing and materials technologies development headquarter.
Education of an expert and educated workforce in the country on 3D-printing is one of the goals of holding these courses so that powerful steps are taken by Iran in this area, which is recognized as the fourth industrial revolution by many specialists. This course was held in the presence of prominent professors from ZEMESC institute from Austria, so that participants could learn about the latest information about this area. Similar to the first round of the event, second round was significantly welcomed by the audience. This event was held in incremental build institute of Iran based in Iran University of Science and Industry.
Javad Zarbakhsh, faculty member of Carinthia University of Applied Sciences of Austria and instructor of these courses, explained about the event: these events were hold for specific groups with particular goals for each group. The participating students of each course are not just merely familiarized with concepts since information can be achieved from everywhere. Our goal is rather training an efficient workforce with the ability to perform new activities in this area.
