Development of Technological Cooperation between Technological Companies of Iran and South Korea

 

A joint meeting was held between Iranian and South Korean Companies active in the area of nanotechnology in order to develop the cooperation between the two countries and commercialize new products to introduce to the market.

According to the Public Relations and information Center of the Vice-Presidency for Science and Technology, this event was held with the cooperation of special headquarter for nanotechnology development, international science and technology interaction center and export and technology transfer development corridor, where agreement was made on the joint cooperation of Iran and Korea Institute of Science and Technology (KIST) in the form of the program of “Iran and Korea Club”.

In this program, KIST has cooperation with several countries with the goal of finding new ideas in the area of technology, aiming to use the abilities of active Iranian companies in the area of nanotechnology to share the strategies for entering the technology markets and transferring knowledge between the two parties.

On this meeting, Patrickj, director of the center for small and medium enterprises of KIST, stated:  this is a great opportunities for Koreans to be present among Iranian companies. Our institute has established the program of Kclub to produce technology on a global level. To date, more than 50 Korean enterprises have joined this club. In order to be recognized a pioneer in the world of technology, we have decided to globalized our club program. In this regard, Iran is one of the countries with high abilities in the area of production of products with advanced technology.

Ali Morteza Birang, deputy for international affairs and technological exchange, presented a report on the technology condition of Iran, pointing out the cooperation experiences of Iran with Korea and emphasizing the continuity of sharing the abilities and transferring of technology and knowledge.

After that, Iranian and Korean technological companies held joint B2B meetings. Moreover, the technological companies and factories will be visited by the Korean companies on Tuesday.
