Ruhollah Dehghani, Vice President of Science, Technology and Knowledge-Based Economy, during a speech at the awarding ceremony of the winners of the fifth Mustafa Award, stated that the Mustafa (PBUH) Award is a model and the beginning of the new scientific excellence of the Islamic world, and continued: I hope this award and Mustafa (PBUH) Foundation can initiate a new chapter in the success and scientific superiority of the Islamic world, considering the background and historical and brilliant achievements of the Islamic world in the field of science, technology and innovation.

Dehghani said that the presence of guests from Islamic countries, who are among the most prominent scientists and technologists of the Islamic world, shows their respect and valuing of science and its importance. Let's organize this award and host prominent scientists from the Islamic world.

Dehghani considered one of the characteristics of Islam's religion to be attention and emphasis on the acquisition of knowledge and its role in the supremacy of the Islamic nation and said: In a religion that emphasizes on knowledge, science and the kingship of science and on the verses of the Holy Quran as miracles of the Prophet of Islam (PBUH) is indicated by reading and writing, it shows the high status of science and the capacity of the Islamic world for scientific excellence.

History testifies that in the words of the Messenger of God, the greatest honors and values are reserved for scholars, and in the hadiths of the Prophet (PBUH) and the narrations of the Imams (PBUH), the importance of knowledge and acquiring knowledge, even in the most remote and unreachable places, has always been emphasized.

The head of the National Elites Foundation stated that the superior position of science has always been emphasized: In the religion of Islam and Quranic teachings, science and the knowledge of scholars are mentioned 70 times more than the blood of martyrs. This shows that the greatness of science, with Islam will develop.

Referring to the origins of the transfer of the brilliant history of the scientific superiority of the world to the West and the reasons for this, Dehghani stated: The emphasis of the religion of Islam on the subject of science caused Muslims to be the pioneers and developers of science in the Middle Ages, when the West had no knowledge of science. but this process changed and the scientific superiority of the Islamic world was transferred to the West.

He added: This matter had two important and major reasons, firstly, the western world tried to simplify the teaching and learning of science, and the other reason was that Muslims developed science for the sake of science, while Westerners developed science for application. developed and these two reasons and other reasons caused this superiority to fall into the hands of the Westerners.

The vice president of science, technology and knowledge-based economy, referring to the modeling of Islam in cultivating the greatest scientists of Islam, said: It is appropriate to mention a prominent scientist in the history of Islam in the city of Isfahan, Sheikh Baha’i, who discovered the dynamic science of the famous Isfahan bath hundreds of years before his birth. Builds or designs the underground water network more than the emergence of fluid science. This capacity is available for prominent scientists and researchers of the Islamic world to be able to share their findings and experiences on the basis of the Mustafa (PBUH) award and mark a new chapter of scientific development in the shadow of the religion of Islam.

Dehghani pointed out that seven of the 30 countries developing science are Muslim, and continued: Iran, Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, Malaysia, Egypt, and Indonesia are among the countries that are influential in the future and progress of world science.

The Vice President of Science, Technology and Knowledge-Based Economy stated: I suggest that in view of the global recognition that has been created by this huge award in the world, scientists who are the science and technology ambassadors of their countries should pursue promotion and development programs in Islamic countries in the future.
