According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, Sorena Sattari, the vice president for science and technology affairs, pointed out the initiation of evaluation and holding of the Mustafa Prize since two years ago by the contribution of the private sector on the annual meeting of investment fund of the Mustafa Prize, which was held in the building of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, stating: since two years ago, it is decided to hold the prize without the help of the government. Fortunately, financial supply of the event has been carried out without the help of the government.

He added: all of the success of the fund has been achieved without extensive advertisement and use of the help of government, and the event has been significantly welcomed by Islamic countries.

A Recognized Prize for Introduction of Scholars and Technologists of the Islamic World

According to Sattari, the Mustafa prize is held for scientific pioneers of the Islamic world and Iran in order to promote the culture of donation.

He also asserted: the Mustafa Prize will be held for a long time and its positive impacts on the country and science and technology field will soon be unveiled.

The vice president for science and technology affairs expressed his hope about the culture of donation in the area of science and technology of the country and stated that venture capitals will be significantly increased.

During the meeting, a general report was presented on the financial situation of venture capitals and donations of Mustafa Prize. According to this report, the fund has increased from 60 billion IRR to 220 billion IRR, which will increase by the support of these companies.

Moreover, cooperation agreements were signed between seven companies and investment fund of the Mustafa Prize, where the companies accepted the financial supply of a share of financial sources of the fund.
