According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, Esmaeil Ghaderifar, head of the strategic technologies laboratory network, pointed out the importance of supporting startups in the field of fruits and vegetables during the ceremony for unveiling the BAZARGAM system and signing a memorandum of understanding with the union of fruits and vegetables, expressing: for several years now, we are witnessing a fresh start to the creation of a new business in the field of service to the people, thanks to the central ecosystem development program for the development of start-ups.

He also asserted: occasionally, the difference between the price of fruit from the farm and the vegetables is about 700 percent, which is due to the presence of dealers and brokers. The marketer seeks to correct this defective cycle and determine the true price of the consumer"s fruit.

Head of the strategic technologies laboratory network continued: this newly developed startup is established to provide innovative solutions for giving services to people in the field of fruits and vegetables with a suitable cost.

In another part of his speech, he mentioned: to establish this startup, proper cooperation has been made with urban management and there is a serious determination for establishing fruit startup in the municipality of district two.

According to Ghaderifar, the foundations for the establishment of fruit plant were founded in the country about a year and a half ago, during which time I wanted to identify the startups active in this area and to remove the obstacles facing the development of this new business.

He added: to implement this plan, the Ministry of Agriculture, Rural Cooperative, Ministry of Labor and Social Cooperative, and the Municipality of Tehran"s 2nd District helped the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs and a good co-operation was established.

He also marked: development of startups has had two positive results, including the creation of occupations in the country and giving services to people. In this regard, we have aimed to expand this type of occupations in the country.

He also declared: holding the 6th laboratory equipment & chemicals exhibition (Iran Lab 2018) and the second national, cultural, and art festival of “Made in Iran” by the Vice-Presidency is in line with developing and culture-building of knowledge-based economy and businesses in the country.
