According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, the proper infrastructures have been laid in Iran in terms of these activities. Currently, there are 150 experts in the field of brain implant engineering, and there are about 35 engineering schools in the country with the talent of being active in this field.

In addition, the brain implant committee of the cognitive sciences and technologies development headquarter has designed proper projects on brain implants to be used in medical fields and treatment of diseases, such as Parkinson’s disease.

This committee has been established by the participation of more than 10 professors with various specialties. In addition, the committee is created to develop activities in the area of various projects. With more than 10 projects with various approaches, a system called national modular was designed in the country.

In the project of national modular, more than 60 experts are active in different areas, including neurosciences, electricity and telecommunication, signal processing and material engineering. This project is designed to create cohesion between island activities of this field. development of cognitive technologies, training expert human resources, directing the non-converging specialized activities, developing knowledge and technology boarders in the area of medicine and cognitive sciences and powerful presence in international areas are among the major objectives of the project. After the completion of this project, the first system of integrated Brain Implant will be developed in the country.
