Cooperation Agreement on Development of the Third Phase of Pardis Technology Park Is Signed between the Vice-Presidency for Science and Technology Affairs and China
According to the Public Relations and information Center of the Vice-Presidency for Science and Technology, a cooperation agreement was signed between the Vice-Presidency and China in a meeting attended by Alireza Daliri, deputy for management development and resources, Mahdi Safarinia, head of the Pardis technology park, and Camsi Co. from China.
Alireza Daliri talked about the activities performed in Pardis technology park in the area of new and promising technologies.
He emphasized the development of thousand of hectares for Pardis technology park, stating: development of the third phase of Pardis technology park can lead to the establishment of companies, reference libraries and a number of technological services. In addition, all organizations with the ability to provide general, specialized and library and financial services can be established here.
Daliri continued: the cooperation agreement with the national Camsi Co., which performs most of financial supply projects of Iran, is signed to develop the third phase of Pardis technology park. According to this agreement, 125 million euros will be provided during 10 years with a two-year break to construct and equip the third phase of Pardis technology park.
At the end, Daliri expressed: the executive projects will be initiated in 2018 after the signing of agreement.
According to this report, the financial supply and investment office of the Vice-Presidency has started several evaluations in this area along with the development of the third phase of Pardis technology park.
The first step was assessment of recommendations made by the CAMC engineering company and the suggestion was finalized after several meetings and by counseling with the Pardis technology park.
The Chinese side also proposes a new recommendation, which was eventually signed in a joint meeting held March 4th 2018 in the presence of four seniors and representatives of the mentioned company to sign the agreement. It was decided to finalize the contract during the next four month and with the cooperation of both parties.
It is noteworthy that Pardis technology park is the largest technology park of Iran, and implementation of its third phase will lay the foundation for development of knowledge-based and strategic technologies companies. The currency value of this mutual agreement is 125 million euro.
