The sixth round of the competition of smart fleets will be held October 23^rd-25^th, 2018 to create interactions between industry and universities and improve the scientific level of students and promote the marine culture.

According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, the competition of smart fleets will be held along with the fourth festival of “Sea, the Path to Progress” due to the significantly welcoming of the previous rounds by Sharif University of Technology and with the cooperation of marine knowledge-based industries and technologies development headquarter. The winners of the event will receive valuable awards.

Alireza Kazemipour, executive secretary of the competition, pointed out the time of the event, expressing: to date, 24 teams have registered for the event from universities of Sharif, Birjand, Kermanshah, Imam Khamenei, Babol, Bahonar of Kerman, Abu Ali Sina, Persian Gulf, Ferdowsi of Mashhad, Chabahar Maritime and Marine, Pasargad Higher Education, Khavaran Higher Education and various organizations, including Marine Book and Maritime Training Institute.

Kazemipour affirmed: this competition will be held in two smart and remote-monitoring levels and includes two items of speed and monitoring ability and a special item.
