Competition among instructors, and school and university students in the field of 3D printing

 

The first national competition of 3D printing will be held separately as one of the sections of the second event of 3D printing of Iran.

According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, along with holding the second comprehensive gathering of incremental building in Iran, the national competition of 3D printing, special for instructors and school and university students will be held by the incremental construction institute of Iran and with the support of advanced materials and construction development headquarter. The main goal is emergence of creativity in students and instructors of this field. Familiarity of the teachers and students with 3D printing technology is an important issue that will provide the ground for its development in the country, because if given the basis of these trainings to students, seriousness and innovation will certainly follow this area in the higher levels. Therefore, this event will be held to witness the competition of instructors and students in the field of 3D printing.

The awards of the instructors include 20 million rials (first place), 16 million rials (second place), and 10 million rials (third place). In addition, awards of the student section for each level include 15 million rials (first place), 12 million rials (second place) and eight million rials (third place). This competition will be held December 5th-7th, 2018.
